Got a call from 02 today, definitely no scam, seemed legit.

Got a call from someone saying they were with O2, but it was clear they were from an Indian call centre with loads of noise in the background from other people chatting. I just ended the call and put their number straight on block.

Dont reply or believe anything this firm says. Just like others wrote, I suddenly got an email after chatting with them saying bailiffs were on their way. Totally a con. I spoke to some guy named MACK who kept arguing with me and refused to connect me to his boss. A dreadful time dealing with them! Honestly, just keep clear!

I picked up and there was silence for about half a min then they just ended the call.

I filled in an online form to get debt advice, but then I began getting threatening messages saying I’d be barred from help if I didn’t agree to an IVA. After that, emails started coming from a bailiff firm warning me they’d come and take my belongings. I phoned the company they said they were from and they said they had no record of it. It’s really worrying, especially with so many vulnerable people around.

They claimed to be from debt relief and must have got my details when I filled out a callback form on some fake website. Felt dodgy cause they called me at 9:15 pm - not normal office hours at all. I'm proper worried I might've shared too much with them. Also got texts from two different numbers with links to sites called yourdebt-expert and creditfix, which just seems really sketchy.
