Got a call from someone saying they were Lewis Andrews from Santander's Business Fraud Team. The number they used was almost identical to the real one, just a couple of digits swapped. They told me there were suspicious transactions on my account and asked me to log into a website, but my laptop blocked access to it. When I said I’d hang up and ring Santander myself to check, the caller turned pretty pushy and warned that if it wasn’t sorted right away, the fake charges would be taken out of my account. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.
