I'm pretty sure this number belongs to the Financial Assessment Scheme, a government initiative designed to help people whose pension schemes collapsed after the companies behind them went under. I've had a good experience with them; they're quite supportive and actually call back like they say they will, which is refreshing.

I've had a second encounter with what seems to be the Pension Protection Fund. Initially, I received a letter from them, and now they've sent me another one, presumably to jog my memory about their first correspondence. I'm a bit baffled as to why they're reaching out to me and can't help but feel there might be something fishy going on. Definitely raising my suspicions of potential fraud here!

I've received a message claiming to be from the pension protection fund, insisting they're looking to compensate me. The thing is, I wasn't even aware I was owed anything! They’re asking for my personal and bank details, which feels quite dodgy to me. Definitely raising some red flags here!
