Got a call from 10 123 2040, some robot voice saying it was my bank. They claimed a £690 deposit got blocked and told me to press one to chat. I hung up straight away. When I tried to complain, they rang again. I don’t even have a bank account, so I’m 100% sure this was a scam. Honestly, it’s scary to imagine what would’ve happened if I’d pressed one.

I got a call claiming to be from the tax fraud department.

No idea who tried to ring me, and I definitely never dialled this number. Two calls showed up costing me 56p and 65p at 7:55am and 7:57am on the same day, 23rd April 2017, on my phone. At that time, I’m usually logging into my work computer, not making calls at all. This is honestly ridiculous.

About the number 03301232040, I looked into it and discovered it's actually a legitimate contact for Purple Parking at Heathrow. Sorry for the confusion. I did make those two calls I mentioned earlier and I was billed for them, but turns out this number isn’t some spammer or anything like that. It’s definitely a proper, genuine number.

I must apologise for any confusion - I initially flagged this number as a potential scam on my mobile. However, after some further investigation, I realised my mistake; it turns out the call was to Purple Parking at Heathrow Airport. This number is indeed legitimate. My sincerest apologies for any hassle caused by my earlier concern.

I've noticed a couple of calls on my mobile that supposedly came from me to this number-one at 7:55 and another at 7:57 in the morning. That timing is a bit odd, considering I only just walk into the office then. I'm usually busy booting up my computer and not fiddling with my phone right away. It doesn't add up! Plus, I've been billed for these two calls, one for 0.56 and the other for 0.65 pence. Certainly seems a bit dodgy to me!
