Some bloke kept calling me, saying he was from BT trying to get me to sign up for a new deal. Turns out, he’s not actually from BT, just some third party trying to flog their services. The name he gave was Jordan, I think. Would steer clear if I were you.

Absolutely a chap pretending to represent BT, trying to peddle a fresh contract. Truth be told, he’s not affiliated with BT in any way; he’s merely a third-party broker pushing their services. He often introduces himself as Jordan. Best steer clear of this one!

I initially suspected it was a scam, as they didn't request any of my details - they seemed to have everything they needed. After that first phone call, I was quite anxious and even did a bit of digging. However, when my subsequent BT bill arrived, I noticed all the details had been amended. I rang BT using the standard 150 contact number, and they clarified that this caller is merely an affiliate selling on their behalf. So perhaps it’s not as dodgy as I first thought?

Received an unexpected call regarding my internet service, which prompted me to enhance my broadband package. Lo and behold, my bills have decreased! Absolutely no reasons to grumble here!

We've received a pair of calls from this and yet another number (0330 1185006). The initial one was from a rather affable chap named Victor Nekruta, and then more recently, we were contacted by a Will Langdon. Honestly, how do these individuals manage to rest easy at night? It's best to just ignore them and add them to your blocked list!

I’ve had a rather dodgy experience with a caller posing as BT. They were fishing for all sorts of personal info, claiming they could help lower my bills. Regrettably, I fell for it and handed over quite a bit of information. After a while, I started to get a funny feeling in my gut, but alas, it was already too late!

Got a call saying it was about my BT account, but I don’t even have BT. Then they muddled it saying something about OpenReach managing the lines, which isn’t true. They carried on claiming BT was doing a big promo and ringing loads of people. I kept telling them I’m not with BT, and they replied “not yet,” but I don’t plan to be. The number didn’t show up anywhere as BT either. Definitely seems dodgy to me - watch out, could be a scam!

I received a rather dubious call this morning from someone purporting to be with BT. He had some details about our account, which raised a few red flags for me. I didn’t entertain him for long and swiftly ended the conversation. I've also taken the precaution of blocking his number now.

Today, I received a call on my landline from a chap who had quite a pronounced Indian accent. He claimed he was ringing to "alert" me about a supposed issue with my broadband connection. Strangely enough, he insisted that I ought to grant him access to my computer to rectify this alleged problem. It was glaringly obvious that he was trying to pull a fast one and was out to nab my personal information. No way was he a legitimate BT technician.

A gentleman named Victor rang me up, claiming he wanted to provide a discount on our BT telephone bill. He was exceedingly courteous and suggested a reduction on our monthly business tariff. However, after he phoned back a few times, something felt off, and I decided to pass on the offer.

I received a rather unexpected call on my landline from someone claiming to be “Victor Nekruta” on the afternoon of the 23rd of November. He mentioned he was looking into my experiences with BT’s services. I provided him with some information regarding my bills as he requested. To my surprise, he informed me that he was upgrading me from a “residential” to a business account, while also adding BT Sport to my current package, and shockingly, this would raise my monthly bill to £64.47 including VAT. After this, he passed me over to a “David Nunn” to wrap things up. I would appreciate any confirmation as to whether this call was indeed legitimate and truly from BT!

A chap named Victor gave me a bell regarding some BT voiceless initiative, claiming he could help lower my bills. I genuinely believed he was associated with BT at first. However, he hasn't followed up since our chat, and after coming across another user's review about this number, I’ve decided to block it.
