Got another call from them today, even after I rang BT myself. BT said flat out they don’t do these sales calls. This time, the caller, Izzy, kept insisting she was from BT and that I’d just spoken to a “local” part of the company. She seemed annoyed when I told her I’d already sorted it with BT yesterday. She even said it wasn’t showing on her end! Definitely be careful with these lot.

Got another call today, second one actually. This time the number was a bit different but the caller said they were from BT business. They seemed to know my company’s name and were talking about cutting costs because of the cost of living stuff. Didn’t really trust it so I didn’t say yes to anything and gave BT a ring myself. Turns out, BT don’t do calls like that at all and were pretty helpful sorting it out.

I rang the BT helpdesk to check and it turns out this number isn't from them. The details that person gave about my suspension were totally wrong.

This number keeps ringing, but as soon as I answer, they hang up. Quite the nuisance, really!

I've looked into this number, and it's definitely not linked with BT. I rang their customer service to verify, and it turns out my doubts were spot on; the details shared by this individual aren't accurate at all.

Some woman was really pushy, insisting she was ringing to help cut costs on our BT bill. I told her straight up I didn’t buy she was actually from BT. Then she said she worked for one of their partner firms, but got all defensive and nasty when I called her out. Partner firm or not, it’s not BT, is it? Just a load of crooks trying to scam your details for something dodgy later. Best to just block them straight away.

Someone rang me pretending to be from BT, saying they wanted to help cut down on our bills or improve the service. When I asked which company she was really working for, she couldn’t give me a straight answer. She kept saying it’s all the same since the lines come from Openreach. After I pressed her a bit more, she just told me it wasn’t worth her time talking to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were from BT, trying to push some financial help for businesses. I told him we weren’t actually with BT, but he kept insisting that didn’t make any difference and if I just gave some info, he could still assist. It all sounded really dodgy to me, so I ended the call straight away.

Got a call from some bloke named Jack, who said he was calling from BT about my bill. I asked him for his email, and he told me to call him back once I had it. I just said alright, I’ll wait and see if I bother lol.

I received a call from someone who claimed to be representing BT Openreach, and he requested my account number. He introduced himself as Jack and insisted he could enhance my internet speed and resolve the issues I was experiencing with my computer. Unfortunately for him, I’m not even a customer of BT Openreach!

Someone rang me up claiming they were from BT and wanted the account number. Jack was on the call and said he could request it himself. I told them alright, then go ahead and ask for it and ring us back later.

As soon as I picked up, the call just dropped. I tried calling back on my landline and got a voicemail, no company mentioned, just some extension number. Right after I ended the call, they rang me again, saying they were from Amazon Prime. They kept telling me I'd be billed monthly and needed to sort out some payment supposedly already taken from me - which I never paid in the first place. That’s when I decided I wasn’t going to listen any further because it felt like a total scam.

The moment I picked up they just hung up straight away. I tried calling back from my landline and got an answering machine with no company details, only an extension number. As soon as I ended the call, they rang me again pretending to be Amazon Prime, saying I'd be billed every month and needed to get back some money I supposedly paid. I never paid anything to begin with. That's when I told them I wasn’t interested and felt they were definitely not legit.

I was hoping to have a chat about our BT account, but the person on the line insisted we weren't BT customers. So I tried to clarify by mentioning our landline instead, explaining that we’ve already made improvements to our phone setup. However, before I could even get my point across, they abruptly cut the call. How downright discourteous!
