Got a dodgy text claiming to be from Virgin Money saying they blocked a new standing order for £1780. It said if I hadn’t approved it, ring 03301184781 between 9am and 7pm any day. I phoned the number and called them out on their scam. They just hung up on me. Checked directly with Virgin Money and they confirmed 03301184781 is definitely NOT one of their numbers. Stay clear and don’t get involved!

Received a message from Virgin Money regarding a suspicious transaction. It prompted me to ring a number. I ended up on the phone for half an hour, and before I knew it, they had drained £2000 from my credit card.
