Got a call from someone acting like they're from BT BUSINESS, doing an account review. Next thing I know, they've somehow signed me up for a new broadband package without me realy agreeing. The numbers they called from were 0330 118 0135 and 0330 118 5008. Beware!

Had a bloke from some outfit named 'Total' ring me claiming he was a 'BT business Partner' trying to check up on MY BT connection. I just let him rabbit on for a while before shutting him down... our phone line isn’t even with BT! Proper cheeky git.

I was a bit unsure when I got the call at first, but ended up chatting with the supervisor. They didn’t ask for any card details or payment, just wanted some feedback. I get that companies use marketing firms for this kinda thing. No problem with that, I just asked them to stop calling me since I’m not really into random cold calls.

I've recently had an encounter with a marketing outfit named 'Total', which seems to be masquerading as some sort of BT Business Partnership-though, truth be told, I’ve yet to find anyone who’s heard of this so-called alliance. They’re busy trying to entice folks with offers that are supposedly exclusive and discounted, but it's all smoke and mirrors. Their actual game appears to be nothing more than data collection; they're just after your information to sell it off to an army of other companies, thereby cashing in on your details.

Best to steer clear of these chaps at all costs, unless you fancy having an avalanche of telecom companies chasing you down with their sales pitches!
