Based on the comments I’ve come across, I wouldn’t suggest anyone to pick up this number. For me, it just showed up as unknown.

In the early stages, I found myself bombarded with endless inquiries, which soon escalated into rather intrusive personal questions. It dawned on me that this could very well be a precarious scam. I unwittingly replied to a handful, as they purported to be a repair team affiliated with the local council. However, they kept probing about which council I belonged to and whether my home was part of a housing association or council. This struck me as odd, especially since I thought they ought to have that information readily available. My unease deepened when they began requesting photographs of my property and specifics about features like double glazing. They even inquired about when I celebrate my birthday, which made me quite uncomfortable. At that point, I refrained from answering any further bizarre questions and promptly ended the call.

They seemed to know a fair bit about my policies, so they came across as genuine. But when I tried asking for more info, they just wouldn’t give me any straight answers.

This company uses loads of different numbers, even private ones, to call. I told them flat out I already have life insurance and wasn’t interested, but they just won’t stop ringing me. Proper annoying!
