I got a call from these guys who work for British Gas Business, but they’re actually from some Hull-based company called Resq doing the selling on their behalf. They seem genuine enough, but if you’re not certain, it’s best to verify. You can ring British Gas customer support and ask them to confirm who contacted you. Their sales managers hardly ever pick up the phone anyway.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from "British Gas Businesses," sounded like they were in a hectic call centre. The person said their manager wasn’t around so couldn’t double-check anything.
