This morning I got a t#### blocking device in the mail, and after looking at the paperwork I found the number 03301000466 listed. It says the company is called Qube and that you need to ring them to set up the installation. Seems dodgy though, especially after reading what others have said about this number.

I got an email from [email protected][###] saying my broadband was running slow and to follow a link to book an engineer. The email only used my first name and even included my landline number. To be safe, I messaged TalkTalk on their webchat and they said it was legit. So, I clicked the link. Then today, my mobile showed a missed call from 03301000466 - the same number that was in the original email. Still, I'm a bit iffy about it since my internet feels fine and I'm not having any speed issues.

Somebody phoned me saying they were from TalkTalk, and just last week I got an email about the same thing. I told the caller straight away I knew it was a con and that I’ve actually got an engineer coming soon. Funny enough, he sounded American, then apologised and said, “Alright, you’ve got an appointment, my mistake,” before wishing me a good day and hanging up. They do have my phone number and postcode now though, so watch out everyone.

Some guy rang claiming he was from my internet supplier, but that didnt fool me for a second when I asked him who my actual provider was. He stammered and then just started naming BT and a bunch of other companies. Honestly, it was pretty funny to listen to. I told him he should think about getting a proper job cause he was absolutely hopeless at pulling off a scam.

Just like a few others mentioned, I received what looked like a proper email about my broadband speed. Soon after, I got a call on my mobile from that same number trying to book a Sunday afternoon appointment. It felt a bit dodgy, so I rang TalkTalk customer service and they said they had no note of any of this. Strange how they managed to get my number and already knew I’m with TalkTalk. I’m definitely going to report it to the data protection folks.

I just got a phone call from someone claiming I have shares I'm holding. It sounded very dodgy and reminded me of previous times I got these calls.
