So from what I found out, Market Makers in Portsmouth is a PR firm, not some shady operation. They work with over 60 businesses across the UK. They're not some kind of threat, just telesales folks hired by various companies, big and small, to collect information or set up appointments for their clients.

Sounds like it's from Weslyan Financial Services. They keep ringing me all the time, real pest actually. I've just stopped answering the phone now.

Got a call today from someone insisting they wanted to speak to our CEO using just his first name (umm, no thanks). When I asked for more details, they claimed they were from ‘Checkatrade’ - sounded a bit dodgy to me.

They called and immediately used my name, but then just cut the call straight away.

I got a missed call so I rang back and to my surprise, some bloke called Luke picked up at what sounded like the main office. He was pretty dodgy and wouldn't tell me who actually phoned me. The place he said was at Portsmouth Lakeside, North Harbour, Weston Road PO6 3EN. Luke mentioned that big companies like Barclaycard and Travelodge use their number, but he didn’t offer any more info. Something didn’t sit right with me, felt like he was bending the truth. Honestly, I’d just hang up if you get a call from that number!

I just got a call from someone saying they were Jason from Barclaycard, but I’ve never had anything to do with them before. I ended up just hanging up straight away.
