Today, on the 20th of May, I got a call on my mobile but didn't pick up because my phone warned it might be a scam. Looking into it this morning, the 21st, I confirmed it was indeed a scam call. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

On 28/01/2026 I got a call. There was a pause, then a young lady introduced herself from Compare the Network and asked how I was doing. I asked her to say that again and she repeated the company name, explaining it was regarding mobile phones and checking if I was the right one to talk to. Feeling really uninterested I started to say I wasn’t interested, but she cut me off and ended the call before I could finish. Bit rude if you ask me.

Got a call from some stranger asking about my phone network and signal. They were pushing some deal to improve my reception, totally a telemarketing trick. I ended up hanging on for nearly 40 minutes just to waste their time while they tried hard to get my card details. Don't be fooled by these types, it's a proper scam.
