Some lady rang me from this number and just like the person before, she hung up as soon as I asked who she was and which company she was calling for.

The guy said he was with Motor Investigations and had been passed on by the accident claims team. I ended the chat quick when I asked him to spell out his company's name and what number he was calling from. I told him my number's on the TPS list but he acted like he’d never heard of it and got all defensive and rude. The amount of these accident scam calls have shot up loads since Christmas.

Everyday this week I’ve gotten calls from a number starting 0330 059 04, with the last two digits changing each day - like 81 on Monday, 55 Tuesday, 69 Wednesday and 63 on Thursday. They haven’t called from the one ending 61 yet, but I’m thinking that might be today. The first time I picked up, there was just silence and then a woman saying I’d been in a car crash. When I told her I hadn’t, she just dropped the call.
