Just got a message from this number all of a sudden today warning me that if I don’t reply, there’ll be more trouble! Whenever I get something fishy like this, I google it to see if it’s legit. That’s how I ended up posting here. I’m definitely going to block this number and any others like it. They’ll probably pop up again with another slight change, but this kind of thing is really scary, especially for older folks who might panic. Honestly, something needs to be done to stop these companies or whoever’s behind this.

I told that bloke from Wales straight up, we don’t have to share our info over the phone if they won’t tell us theirs. So why should I? I gave ’em some rubbish name and a made-up reference, said I was 007. What’s with these Welsh folks trying to scam good Scousers out of their cash? Enjoy your Christmas though, we’ll be laughin’! 😂😂😂😂🎉

For the past few months, I've been getting lots of calls and texts from a company called Link, even though I have no clue who they are. They even rang my ex’s listed landline. Despite blocking both my mobile and landline, somehow the calls still come through. I usually ignore them, but once while driving, I accidentally picked up on bluetooth. The woman on the other end tried to ask me some questions about “personal business” but wouldn’t say what it was all about. When I asked her who she was, she refused to answer, saying it was confidential. I told her I couldn’t share my info either for the same reason. She seemed annoyed and I told her to send me anything important in writing and to stop calling me altogether. The latest texts warn me that if I don’t respond, there might be “further action,” which honestly sounds intimidating rather than inviting. Hopefully sharing this helps others and that something can be done about these persistent calls soon.

Got a text off this number saying I need to contact them right away or else there’ll be some sort of action taken. Felt a bit dodgy to me.
