Got a call about car financing from some AI sales thing. Sounded pretty legit, but I just ignored it. Not really keen to chat with bots anyway.

Looks like the folks behind this are the same ones running uk appliance cover limited. They target older people, pretending to offer warranty deals but really just trying to rip them off. They usually claim you’ve missed a payment and warn that if you don’t pay everything right away, your ‘warranty’ will be cancelled. Definitely don’t hand over any payment details to them. If you’ve already given them your card info, get your bank to cancel your card quick. The number they use is 01268 646405. Watch out!

Picked up to check who it was and as soon as I answered, they cut off. Nothing said on the other end. Definitely a nuisance call, first one was just last week too.

I kept getting calls from the same bunch at UK Cover Services, number 6 something. Honestly, what they're doing should really be illegal. Proper annoying!
