I said hello a few times and just waited, but then the caller dropped the line!

This number has been calling me for a couple days now, but every time I answer, it's just dead silence on the other end. Honestly, I have no clue who's behind it, but it feels a bit dodgy to keep getting calls like that and then they just hang up as soon as you say hello. I've come across several stories online about scams doing the same, so I thought I'd better flag this number as suspicious.

this number keeps calling me with nothing but silence, no matter what time it is! it gotta be some robotic autodialler or something like that. not a chance i’m trusting it. i just went ahead and blocked it, definitely not that important!
