So worried lol, I’m an oldie. I don’t answer the phone and they never leave a message.

So I got a call from someone claiming to be from TalkTalk. They were pretty clued up - knew my name and that I'd just recently ended my contract. They asked me for my email and postal address to verify me, kind of like how TalkTalk usually does. They never requested any bank info or money, so it felt like a typical customer retention type of call. Still, I was a bit wary, so I rang TalkTalk myself afterwards, and apparently that number wasn’t on their system at all. Honestly, I’m a bit confused about what to think here.

They kept calling me loads saying they wanted to talk about my internet deal ending, the first call came through at 8.12 this morning and they kept ringing a few times during the day. Quite annoying really.

They've been ringing nonstop using basically the same number, just different last few numbers each time. Every call lasts like 15 seconds before they hang up. If it were something urgent, wouldn’t they leave a voicemail? I haven’t picked up since it seems fishy, probably a scam.

some bloke rang up claiming to be from a firm but wouldn’t say which one. when i asked the reason for his call, he just stayed silent. i told him goodbye and hung up. honestly, the whole call felt pretty odd.
