Got a call from a woman about some car finance refund she claimed was on the telly. Her voice was all muffled and sounded like she was just reading off a script. As soon as she started explaining why she was ringing, I just ended the call.

I've just noticed that £58.50 has been deducted from my Vodafone account, labelled as a charge from German Vodafone. I've had enough and have blocked them. I attempted to call this morning to sort out a refund, but it seems the number is no longer in service. I'm absolutely livid about the whole situation. Cheers, Paul Quirke.

Absolutely dodgy! They're siphoning off £4.50 from me weekly through Vodafone charges. Make sure to flag them to the relevant regulatory body right here: https://psauthority.org.uk/for-consumers/report-an-issue. Let's put a stop to these scams!

I didn’t press any links or anything, yet somehow got this call. Noticed Vodafone being brought up loads with these. I’m seriously planning on pushing this as much as I can, seems like a proper scam to me.

Got this call out of the blue and never clicked any links or anything, so I'm pretty sure it's a scam. Noticed loads of people mentioning Vodafone with these calls too. I'm going to report it properly and see how far I can take it.

I got charged £94.50, so I rang Vodafone to sort it out. They gave me a number to call back, but it’s dead now, doesn’t connect. The Vodafone rep promised to ring me again on Monday to talk things through. They also said if they don’t refund me, they’d cover the cost themselves and put the money back in my account. Fingers crossed it all gets sorted!

Last week I got this text telling me I’d signed up for German classes costing £4.50 a week, but I never did. I rang Vodafone right away and they said they’d blocked it, yet I’ve still got £6.50 taken from my account. I’m not sure if I should reply with stop or just leave it. If you look up j1 media, you’ll see they’re known for this kind of thing. Honestly, how is this even allowed?

Last week I got a text saying I’d signed up for German lessons costing £4.50 a week, which I definitely didn’t do. I rang Vodafone straight away and they said they blocked it, but somehow £6.50 still got taken from my account. I’m really in two minds about replying stop or not. If you look up J1 Media, they have quite a reputation for this kind of thing. I just don’t get how something like this can still be allowed!

Got a message this evening saying I’ve signed up for something I didn’t. I called Vodafone and they said they haven’t taken any money yet and they’ve blocked any new charges coming through. But apparently, they can’t stop the ones that are already set up. I’m not sure if I should reply with STOP or just leave it.

Got some messages tonight saying I’ve signed up for something. I called Vodafone and they told me they haven’t taken any money yet. They’ve blocked any new subscription fees but said they can’t stop the ones already pending. Not sure if I should text back STOP or leave it.

I went through the same nonsense, getting charged £4.50 every week for something I didn’t even sign up for - learning German or whatever. I contacted my network, Vodafone, and luckily they gave me a refund and put a block on premium rate sites for me. Now the annoying part is I’ve got to ring this number to cancel a subscription I never asked for in the first place! So frustrating! 😠

I had this happen to me as well, ended up being charged £4.50 every week for some German lesson service I never signed up for! I called Vodafone, who were great and gave me a refund plus blocked any premium rate sites on my phone. Now I've got the annoying job of ringing that number back just to cancel this subscription I never agreed to! So frustrating! 😠

Had some random charges from Germany popping up, about £4.50 a week. I tried ringing them up, and they sent me a text saying I'd get my money back in 20 days. That was weeks ago and still no refund. Total scam if you ask me.

This is a rip off company that sneaks in a £4.50 charge every week onto your phone bill until you text them to stop. I didn’t see their message because I was away on holiday, and now I’m stuck with a £9.00 fee on my bill! Properly annoying.
