A strange number rang me up, pretending to be from my bank, saying my account had been compromised and I needed to move a big amount to a new one. They had a whole setup, even giving me a number that sounded exactly like the bank's automated service when I asked for proof. I got a bad feeling though, especially when they got really pushy as soon as I started doubting them. It's a lot more convincing than the usual scams I've seen before, almost caught me out. Watch out for stuff like this!

Got a call from this number warning me about some account I don’t even own, saying I should ring them to stop a supposed payment. Total scam, don’t bother calling back!

I got a text saying I'd got some strange payment issue and to ring a certain number to sort it out. The phone number to call was right there in the message. Felt a bit dodgy to me.
