I got a call on my mum’s phone from this number, claiming they were from BT and offering a 'better deal'. They kept pushing her to hand over personal info so they could 'transfer' her service. It’s defo not BT! Doesn’t feel like a full-on scam but it’s a super pushy sales tactic that seems aimed at older folks. Watch out!

I got a call from someone trying to convince me to switch from BT over to Premiere Telecoms. They kept mentioning BT Openreach and BT Retail and how they could save me loads on my bills, but I wasn’t sure if they were actually connected to BT or just pretending. Things got muddled when they couldn’t even say my name properly, so I just hung up. I saw on this site that loads of people have had pretty much the same kind of call but from different numbers.
