3 monthsI got two calls back-to-back earlier today but they didn't leave any voicemail. I didn’t pick up since Truecaller showed it as ‘Possibly a business’. These 0330 numbers are really starting to annoy me, think I’m just gonna block it now.Truecaller4 monthsGot a call out of nowhere about my internet, asking if I wanted a better deal. Told them I’m fine with who I’ve got now.4 monthsThey called up wanting to chat about my current internet service. I just told them I'm not interested.3 yearsGot a call from some broadband price comparison place trying to tell me that copper cables are being swapped for full fibre. Since I already have full fibre and don’t want to switch providers, I told them that and the lady was fine with just leaving it there. No pressure or anything. Bit irritating but no harm done.3 yearsGot a call on my mobile earlier today from someone with an Indian accent saying they were from BT regarding my account. When I mentioned the number was incorrect, he insisted it was right. I told him if he was legit, he could ring me back on my actual BT number instead.BT3 yearsSomebody called me pretending they were from BT Openreach. I told them I wasn’t comfortable giving any details over the phone and asked them to send any questions via letter or email instead. Definitely be careful and don’t share your info with these kinds of calls.BT Openreach3 yearsThis lot say they're from uSwitch but they're actually working for Telegent. They sound really official and polished, but once they've got your card info, they start billing you for stuff they don't deliver. Then they try to slap on cancellation fees and crazy high charges even if you cancel within 14 days. You never sign any contracts or get anything in writing, so there’s no way they can rightfully charge you cancellation fees. It's a well-disguised scam, honestly. Be careful when they claim to be from uSwitch because they're not. I spoke to uSwitch directly, and they confirmed this company has nothing to do with them and just push Telegent products. I've reported them to Action Fraud and my bank. Stay far away.uSwitchTelegentAction FraudSubmit Your Own Report (0330 043 1636)
