yeah so i got a call from someone saying they were from nationwide. i gave them a ring back, and some guy answered asking for my customer number. i told him no way. then i called nationwide myself and turns out it wasnt them at all. never give your details to these muppets!

got a text telling me to ring the number above, saying they’ve added a new payee to my nationwide account. problem is, i don’t even hold a nationwide account and never have. i’d seriously recommend steering clear of this one.

Got a text saying a new payee was added on my account, so I rang back. A young bloke answered but it didnt sound like a call centre at all, just dead quiet in the background. I told him I dont have an account with Nationwide, he said sorry and mentioned I wasnt the first person to call about this. Ended up just hanging up on him.
