I got a call from a sweet sounding woman thanking me for supporting an anti-bullying book given to nearby schools. Nearly got tricked into it... but managed to avoid getting caught.

They tried calling me a couple of times but always hung up just as I was about to answer. Not really keen on ringing them back, so I’m gonna block the number now. Cheers for the info.

I received an absolute dodgy call today from someone claiming that I had paid for a childcare safety awareness service. This is complete nonsense! I never signed up for anything last year. Just a heads up to everyone, be cautious of these scammers!

First there was just silence, then suddenly a lot of noise like a busy call centre in the background. Someone answered with a "hello" and started thanking me for backing some anti-bullying campaign. They said the campaign had finished and they just wanted to express their gratitude, then asked if I remembered them contacting me about it a few months back. I told them for sure I hadn’t had anything to do with it at all.
