Got a call from someone with a really thick Indian accent about renewing some sort of contract I supposedly had. I told her I had no idea what she meant and then she just ended the call straight away. Not sure what that was about.

This number kept ringing me a few times and because I didn’t recognise it, I just ended up blocking it.

Keep getting calls on our office phone about some sponsored books for schools, but we've never been part of anything like that. Just end up hanging up every time.

For a few days, I kept getting calls from this number. They never left a message on my answerphone. When I tried ringing back using a private number, it just sent me straight to voice mail. Quite frustrating really.

Got a call from someone claiming we owed money for school books, but it turned out to be a total scam. Really dodgy!

Had a few calls from this number about selling books for schools, asking for £180. I told them I didn’t know anything about it and they just cut me off. I looked the number up on Google afterwards, and it shows a business centre in Corby called Dwellin Social Care, with the same phone and voicemail. Definite scam in my opinion.

Got these calls often from a number I don't recognise, been quiet the whole time when I answer. No idea who's on the other end.

"Remember when you consented to have your name included in that anti-bullying book aimed at schools a while back? Oh, really? Well, I just wanted to let you know that the invoice for that comes to £156.00... And then the chat just wrapped up. She was quite the courteous lady, I must say."
