I’ve come across a number linked to these so-called "Call Protect" folks, who are relentlessly badgering my elderly parents for £149.99 for some dubious anti-nuisance call service. Ironically, they’re threatening them with debt collectors! The number seems to be perpetually engaged, and the mobile number of their so-called "account manager" is a Tesco mobile (0759 8333242), which just goes to voicemail. This is the second time they’ve fallen victim to a similar scam, but thankfully, this go-around, they’re adamant about not sharing any payment information. I've reported the matter to Action Fraud - it’s absolutely reprehensible behaviour!
