I got in touch with a firm called Eco4 Energy Saving because I wanted to find out about government grants for a free boiler replacement. The chap I spoke to was really polite and well-mannered. Looks like they’re the ones with the contract for this scheme. My new boiler’s been fitted now, and I must say, the company handled everything very professionally.

I was curious where they got my details from, and they said it was from an online database. I told them I actually own my house, then they said sorry in a friendly way. Bit annoying more than anything, not really rude, but I’m not sure if the call was legit or not.
