Got a call from 03300271421, some woman claiming to be from an education service. Turned out she's the same person who kept bugging us ages ago from proactive learning solutions. Later a bloke on the phone got quite pushy. I challenged her about it, but she just denied everything and then cut the call.

What a bunch of con artists! A while back, these people rang me up claiming to be from LTE, thanking me for backing their local school project. If you’re even a bit positive, they hit you with a bill, saying you gave verbal consent. I called her out right away, explaining what was going on, and she just asked, “So you’re saying you didn’t agree to help the schools?” When I said no, she told me she’d check and then just ended the call. Honestly, I don’t get how they manage to sleep at night doing stuff like that.

Got a text from HSBCUKPASCD saying my One Time Passcode is 921710 for a £595.50 payment to AIRBNB with reference GH99PR2. If you didn’t do this, you’re told to ring their fraud team at 0330 027 1421. Wondering what’s going on here, pretty suspicious to me.

Got a text from "HSBCUKPASCD" saying my one-time code is 921710 for a £595.50 charge at AIRBNB - REF: GH99PR2. I don't bank with HSBC, so that's a total red flag. The weird thing is, the same code was used again in another message. It's definitely a scam. If you get something like this, don’t call the number in the message. Instead, look up the official bank number on Google to be safe. Don't fall for it!

Received a call from someone pretending to be from O2, saying I was entitled to a 40% discount because of Covid-19. She mentioned they'd send me a code and wanted me to repeat it back to her to get the discount sorted. I ended the call straight away. She rang back right after, asking why I’d cut off, and when I told her I didn’t think she was legit, she just hung up.

Some bloke rang me saying he was from 02 offering a discount on my phone bills, but it was all a load of nonsense - just a scam.

I got a call from someone saying they were with O2, trying to sell me a discount deal. They asked me to verify my name to prove I owned the account. I turned the tables and told them if they were really from O2, they'd know the account holder's name and could tell me. The name they said was almost impossible to understand, but I caught something like "Miss". My husband is the one with the account, and unless he's legally changed his name recently, this seemed dodgy. Plus, the caller had one of the thickest accents I've ever come across. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

I reckon it was some dodgy O2 call, I asked them why they called and they just cut me off straight away.
