I got a call from someone claiming to be Scottish Power, saying they had my name on file. They kept ringing about smart meters or something like that. When I told them to stop, they said I had to verify some details for security, but I wouldn’t share anything. Then the caller tried to guess my postcode - but it was completely wrong! So I just told them no way am I giving out info. If this isn’t a scam, then Scottish Power’s phone system is seriously flawed. Also, all these calls seem to come from people with foreign accents, and it happens nearly every day. Proper annoying, honestly.

Someone pretending to be from Barclays bank called me. Definitely a scam, don’t trust them!

Got a text from 07955 862969 saying something like ‘Thanks for updating your contact info. Didn’t do this? Ring this number...’ or something along those lines. I don’t even have a Barclays account, so I knew straight away it was a scam. I just blocked the number and deleted the message.

Every time I pick up, they just put the phone down straight away.. So far, I've had to block about 10 of these annoying 0330 numbers. I have no clue what they want or why they keep calling. Honestly, the best thing to do is just block them!
