Some bloke with a really strong accent was asking for a Mrs Alison or something like that, seemed like he made the name up. I told him she’s not here and called out the call as dodgy, and he hung up straight away.

BEWARE of scams! If you get a scam call, send the number and info about the scam by text to 7726. Scam texts should also be forwarded to 7726. This helps your phone provider put a warning about ‘suspected scam number’ on their network. Don’t send real business numbers to 7726 though. You can also take screenshots of scam texts and email them to the police at ‘[email protected]’ for them to look into it. If the scammer managed to get your bank details, make sure to tell your bank and report it to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 as well. Stay safe!

Got a call from someone asking if I was Miss ****, the name was a bit muffled but definitely not me. I simply replied no, and he sounded a bit shocked before I cut the call. Pretty sure it was a scam.
