I had quite an unsettling experience not long ago while I was out for a stroll on my own during the late hours. I received a call from this number, and when I picked up, it was utterly silent. Just a few moments later, the caller ended the call. Shortly thereafter, I received a text that simply said, "Hey." Naturally, I replied, asking who it was. To my utter shock, there was a knock at my door right after that. Intrigued, I dialled the number back, only to hear a phone ringing just outside my house. When I peered out of the window, the individual was nowhere to be seen, but they had sent a rather disturbing photo of my home. It left me feeling quite uneasy, to say the least.

Called me twice today, once this morning and once this afternoon, but left no voicemail. The number is unfamiliar to me. This is a very old number that we only use for emergencies and family contact, barely used more than a couple times a year. No one other than close relatives has it. I don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise. So whoever is calling either got hold of my number without permission or is just phoning numbers at random.
