Got a text from a phone pretending to be my bank about a supposed Argos payment. It included a one-time code and said if I didn’t make the payment, to ring 03300011303. I’ve also added a note about the number on this site. The number calling was 07506 023198.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Santander’s fraud team, asking about a dodgy transaction. When I couldn’t give them the account details they wanted, they just hung up.

Got a call from someone saying he's Sebastian, supposedly from Santander. He mentioned there was some dodgy payment on my account. I ended up giving him a bit of my usual financial info without thinking. Then he wanted to do some kind of security test, which made me uneasy, so I looked up the number. If this rings a bell, be careful and question whoever calls you like this straight away.

Some bloke who said he was Sebastian called me, claiming to be from HSBC and said there was a dodgy direct debit on my account. Once I asked some questions, he just ended the call straight away.

Got a dodgy text about a security code. It said: Your OTP is 625843 for £752.90 paid to EXPEDIA. Didn't ask for this at all. They told me to ring 0330 117 1303 if I wasn’t doing anything like that. Sounds fishy to me!

Got a message saying "Your OTP is xxxx for a payment of 352.90 GBP to EXPEDIA." I wasn’t expecting any charges like that, especially since I’ve never booked anything with Expedia or been on holiday. I looked up the number 0330 117 1303 here first and it’s definitely dodgy. Don’t bother calling it, just blocked straight away!

I received a call from this number, and the caller was rather vague, not having a clue about my date of birth or my address, nor any specifics about the supposed debt they mentioned. They merely insisted that I settle the payment today to avoid court action.

Don't get back to them or call any of the numbers they provide. It's a bunch of scammers acting like they collect debt, trying to scare you with talk about court orders.

I received a rather alarming message from this number, warning me that they intended to dispatch the police to seize items from my residence... I've gone ahead and blocked them!

Got a text saying I haven’t been in touch with Marston Enforcement. They’re asking me to arrange a payment plan ASAP. If I don’t reply, looks like they’ll send an enforcement officer to seize stuff according to a court order. They want me to call 03300011303 and give a reference number. Pretty stressful message to get!
