4 yearsLike I mentioned before, this call isn’t genuine at all - it’s just another scam. The person on the line claimed to be from Lloyds Bank’s fraud department. My wife got asked for her user ID, which Lloyds would never ask for. The caller sounded very British and called himself Matthew. If you’re unsure, it’s always best to jot down details and ring your bank directly using a number you trust. We did just that, and Lloyds confirmed they hadn’t made the call. It was quite a convincing ploy, so stay alert!Lloyds BankLloydsMatthew4 yearsYou won’t get any info out of scammers, they never give anything away.4 yearsDon’t trust this call, it’s a total scam trying to look legit. They claim to be from the bank’s fraud department, and honestly, it sounded really convincing - I almost got tricked myself. They tell you a hefty direct debit’s been arranged to scare you, then say they’ll block your cards and account to make you panic even more. I contacted my bank afterwards and they said they never made that call. For goodness’ sake, don’t hand over any details to these fraudsters!4 yearsI got a call from someone claiming to be from my bank, and she was genuinely nice and super helpful! Felt like a proper legit call.Submit Your Own Report (0330 001 0818)
