I’m not sure who it actually was, but they kept going on about some car crash. They’ve rung me loads of times and even left voicemails accidentally after not hanging up properly. You can definitely hear the background noise of a call centre and people speaking in different languages.

They didn’t tell me exact dates or anything, but said I’d apparently made a claim last year about being a passenger in a small car crash. I didn’t share any info with them, yet somehow they had my postcode and mentioned the address linked to the claim.

Total scam! I put my car on the market just yesterday and then got a call from someone claiming I'd been in an accident. They said they wanted to pay me and were gonna send a cheque. Couldn't get any real info from them at all. What a load of rubbish - proper scammers trying to pull a fast one.

I've been receiving calls from this mysterious number day after day. Honestly, I'm quite puzzled by these persistent spammers; I’ve no clue who they are, and I absolutely refuse to pick up the phone if they keep bombarding me without bothering to leave a message. I suppose I could just block them, but part of me is intrigued to see how long they'll carry on bothering me like this.
