I noticed a missed call from this number earlier, so I decided to look it up online. Turns out, it's listed on the official Public Bank website. According to their page, it belongs to PB Card Services under General Enquiries & Assistance. They say the number to reach them is 603-2176 8000, and their customer service emails go to [email protected]. Apparently, they operate around the clock. Honestly, no clue why they were ringing me since I didn’t answer the phone.

Can someone look into the number 03-21768000? Loads of folks have complained but it seems like no officials, like the police, are doing anything to find out who's behind this scam. Feels like they're just letting people get scammed without taking action.

I got messages saying RM0 with failed transactions of MYR42.49 and MYR3.20 on my card ending 1357. They said it was because of Opt-Out for card not present or overseas uses, and asked me to activate the card at a PBB ATM or call 03-21768000. This number looks suspicious, trying to trick people by sending multiple messages. Please do something about it quickly. Thanks.

My mum got a call from this number claiming to be from Public Bank. She recently got a replacement credit card after losing hers, and shockingly, the caller already knew about the card change. They even asked if she’d updated the phone number linked to the card and mentioned the last 4 digits of her new card. Mum didn’t reveal anything, just confirmed she had a new card and that the digits were correct. Then the caller told her to ring another number to verify since they couldn’t check the card with what she gave. Mum hung up straight away. Honestly, I reckon someone inside the bank might be involved in leaking info, either knowingly or not. So just watch out. Keep in mind, banks never ask you to verify your card details over the phone.

I got a call from this number saying I have some unpaid bill with pbb. They told me to do some steps and get in touch with someone responsible so the court case can be stopped. Just so u know, if it was a real court case, they wouldn’t ring u up like this, especially on a Sunday. Seems dodgy to me.

Seems like a scammer trying to use PBB's name.

Got a phone call from this number telling me my PBB card was used for RM3000 at some duty free shop. Thing is, I don’t even have a PBB card! The day before, I got a text about some suspicious activity on my PBB account. Seriously, Public Bank, sort your IT and security out! Don’t be so tight with spending - better safe than sorry.

Got a call earlier, the guy was speaking English but with an accent that made me think he might be Chinese. He spoke really slowly, like he was reading from a script, and I could even hear typing in the background. When I said I was heading to the public bank, he quickly cut the call.

This morning, on 30/11/2017, I got a call from that exact number saying there was a RM3,000 pending charge on my credit card.

Just got a call at 12.10pm here in Kent, someone saying I’ve got a transaction over RM5000 or something like that... they wanted me to follow some weird instructions. Then they passed me onto an operator who started asking for my name, IC number, my parents' names and my address. Absolutely a total scam since I don’t even have a Public Bank credit card. What a bloody scam!

That number rang me up loads of times, saying I had a £5,000 transaction and to press some button. Sounded like a total scam to me. Better just block it!

Got a ring from this number claiming to be from Public Bank’s debt recovery team. They had my exact name right and told me I owe them £50,000, saying I’ve not made any payments for three months. Can someone explain how I’m supposed to get a loan from Public Bank if I’m already signed up with AKPK? This is so annoying!
