Our home phone in the UK was interrupted by a call from 030509653 at precisely 1:53 PM on Sunday, July 31st. The call appeared to be a sales pitch, claiming that we had won a holiday and enticing us with complimentary Disney World tickets for the first hundred "lucky winners" who pressed '1'. The ringing went on for a fair few seconds, and even after hanging up, the automated message kept churning away, leaving us unable to use our phone until the whole thing wrapped up. Quite a nuisance, really!
