I got a recorded message saying there’s a warrant for my arrest because of tax evasion, supposedly from HMRC, and if I press 1, I’ll get to talk to someone about it. Total scam, don’t fall for it. Those 0300 numbers aren’t free either, so if I’d dialled 1, they’d be raking in cash from me. The real HMRC never do things like this over the phone.
