I think Sign Shop, which I’ve heard might’ve gone into liquidation, is still out there offering funeral plans. They managed to start a monthly direct debit of £519.00 for a mate who’s quite vulnerable, using GoCardless.

My elderly mother, who is 93 and suffers from dementia, has been rather perplexed by an ongoing issue with our BT phone line. Upon looking into this problem, we found that this particular number had registered a whopping 49 calls, racking up an astonishing 73 minutes in total. Thankfully, BT has stepped in and will be blocking this number to prevent any further hassle.

19th September This number has appeared on my elderly uncle's phone statement, and we've reported it to BT, but they're baffled. They refunded the charges for July and August, but now in October, we've hit the same wall again, with extra fees piling up to a staggering £55. My uncle doesn’t really make calls, but he is able to pick up the phone, which I suspect might be the issue. Unfortunately, I have no way to substantiate this. If there's anyone out there experiencing this or who has found a resolution, I would greatly appreciate any insights you could share. Thank you!
