Noticed they spelled licence wrong as 'license', and the email from [email protected] saying "hope you’re doing well" plus "warm regards" was immediately tagged as [!!SPAM].

Got an email that seemed to be from Japan, looked OK at first but had typos like "licence" misspelt and the usual "Hope you are well" bit, which I doubt TV Licensing would ever put in their reminders. They also gave a number for "customer service" which seemed dodgy. I marked it as fishy and told Action Fraud but avoided ringing the number.

I got an email from this number claiming my TV licence was going to expire the next day. The email looked dodgy, especially with 'licence' spelled wrong. I don’t even have the licence in my name - it’s under my husband’s, and it’s not even up for renewal yet. The email came from [email protected] I’ve reported it as phishing straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the tax office saying there was a warrant for my arrest over unpaid income tax. Thing is, i dont even have a job or pay any tax, so obviously it’s a scam. They even messed up and got my first name wrong! What a joke.
