I got a few calls from 0300 200 3884, but the voicemail told me to call back on 0300 322 7857. They said it’s about something urgent they need to talk over. I’m not planning to call them though, because even though I do have some stuff with HMRC, they can just write me letters instead.

I recently came across this number in a dodgy letter that claimed to be from "HMRC". The correspondence was quite cheeky, insisting that I pay up for some supposed "loan amount". Best to disregard it, as it definitely feels like a scam. I've actually received a pair of these letters now and have reported them to the fraud team at HMRC for further investigation. Be cautious, everyone!
