I got a call from someone pretending to be Central Bedfordshire Council, claiming we owed money for care given to a relative who’d just passed away. The woman on the phone, who had an Indian accent, was really pushy and only seemed to care about getting cash from us. After reporting it, I found out it was a total scam. Watch out for this!
