Got a call from this number earlier, saying to press one if I wanted to speak to someone at HMRC. The message went like: "You are now talking to an HMRC officer. If you don’t press 1 and get connected, a warrant will be issued in your name and you’ll soon be arrested!" Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a dodgy call claiming to be HMRC, but it was some American automated voice telling me to press 1 and all that. Total scam, don’t bother ringing back!

Got a voicemail from someone pretending to be HMRC. Didn’t bother listening to all of it, but it sounded like some urgent warning or threat or something. Just hung up straight away.

Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, saying there’s a warrant for my arrest and asking if I had a solicitor because I’d need one for court. They claimed they had solid proof I was involved in tax fraud. Honestly, I freaked out so much I ended up yelling at the woman, and she just dropped the call on me. Such a stressful experience!

Today I got a phone call but it was just some recorded message pretending to be from HMRC. As soon as I heard it, I ended the call right away. I thought if it was really them, they'd ring me again, but no call came back.
