These 0300 numbers all seem to be from the same lot of scammers, so I just block them straight away when they ring. I’ve got BT call protect on my phone (not working for BT or anything, just saying it’s free to use). You can pay for extra features but the basic thing lets you report scam calls by dialing 1572 and pressing 1 then 1 again - pretty simple. You can also do it online after checking who called. I really can’t stand these nasty thieves who make these rubbish fake calls.

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC. It was a recorded message saying I’m going to be arrested for tax evasion. They warned me to press a button, but I reckon that’s just a trick to nick my money. Crazy that anyone falls for this nonsense!
