Got a call claiming to be from HMRC threatening me with arrest if I didn’t press 1. I pressed it out of curiosity but was then left waiting on hold for a couple of minutes and figured it would just keep going forever. So, I ended the call. Best to ignore these calls and just block them straight away. Also, wasn’t expecting HMRC to have so many people with American accents! - number: 0300 200 9233
