Got a call claiming to be from HMRC about some income tax fraud and said they're going to arrest me. When I began asking who exactly they were, they just said they didn’t need to prove anything. Then they told me to press 1 to fix it all. Yeah, right! I hung up and blocked the number straight away.

I got this automated call saying it’s from HMRC, telling me to press 1 or I’d get arrested. Total scam, obviously a fraud trying to scare folks.

I called back but no answer, just silence on the other end.
