I got a call from a lady with an Asian accent claiming to be from HMRC. She told me my name was linked to some sort of fraud and said I had to press 1 to speak to a special officer handling the situation. Felt a bit dodgy if you ask me.

Had a couple of calls from numbers like this before. When I tried ringing back, it just said the number wasn’t active. Surely HMRC would let you get in touch if they actually needed to talk? Feels like a total con to me!

Got a recorded message from HMRC saying there’s some tax fraud issue and asked me to hit 1 to sort it out.

On 10/6/19 I got a call just like the one posted from 8/6/19 saying HRMC press one for EFC. I hung up straight away didn’t wanna listen to any of it.

Got a robocall claiming to be from HMRC saying there's a fraud case against me, then it told me to press 1 to get details. Total scam, obviously.

Some dodgy lot said they're from HMRC and told me I'd have an arrest warrant coming my way. Just another scammer trying to trick folks, complete rubbish.
