Got a voicemail about some so-called criminal charges and a warrant for my arrest. Totally ridiculous and just plain daft! Honestly, there needs to be more done to crack down on these scammers.

Just a heads up, don’t pick up if it’s a scam call.

Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC saying I’d committed fraud and if I didn’t press "1" they’d send a warrant out for me. Don’t get trapped by this - these "0300200" numbers are dodgy. Just hang up straight away! Also, I’d recommend signing up to the TPS (Telephone Preference Service) for free, it helps block most of these rubbish cold calls once your number’s added. If you get any dodgy calls, jot down what you can and report it to the TPS, they’ll handle it from there. Stay safe!

Got a voicemail saying it was HMRC calling, told me I’m involved in tax fraud. They said if I don’t press 1 right away, I’d get arrested. Well, I just ignored it and figured I’d take my chances with the “arrest” bit.
