After picking up my phone, I was informed it was the HMIC regarding some alleged tax fraud linked to my name. They instructed me to press 1, which I naively did out of worry. A rather unpleasant chap then came on the line, bluntly stating there was a tax fraud case against me and ordering me to appear in court! Naturally, I refused and told him to clear off. Definitely not the sort of call one wishes to receive!
