Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent, saying she was calling from HMRC about some tax fraud investigation. I asked, "Is this really HMRC?" She said yes, so I tried to get her name. Just as I was about to write it down, the call suddenly cut off.

I didn’t catch the call when it rang, so I called back. A recorded voice with an Irish accent came on, offering me to press 1 or wait to speak. The same voice then said the number’s out of service. Feels like a scam to me.
