Received a rather dubious call featuring a pre-recorded message claiming there’s a fraud case associated with my name linked to HMRC. It warned that if I didn’t press 1, the police would be coming to arrest me any moment now. The grammar was absolutely dreadful, and the speech was quite choppy. - It was an automated voice purporting to be from HMRC.
